Dunkerhook (Saddle River County Park)
Saddle River County Park, a 577-acre park that runs along Bergen County’s Saddle River, consists of five park sections that are all connected to a multi-use path. One of the park’s sections, Dunkerhook, completely spans over Paramus and Fairlawn. Dunkerhook is primarily known for holding one of Bergen County’s historical sites, the Easton Tower. Continuing further north past Dunkerhook, Saddle River County Park includes extra amenities such as a picnic area, 3 tennis courts, pavilions, and much more. Felicia Dohm, a math teacher at Montclair High School, described the area as “a very nice place, it’s great for bike riding and has plenty of trees,” highlighting its tranquility and overall nature. Abma’s Farm (Wyckoff, NJ)
Abma’s Family Farm, started in the 1790s, sells everything homegrown and is sold fresh. Now, nine decades and five generations later, they are still known as Bergen County’s only produce, egg, and meat farm. Their largest Dutch style barn was later made into a retail market with a “scratch” bakery and a gourmet kitchen. They grow their boutique crops there and host U-Pick events throughout the year. “I’d recommend Abma’s farm in Wyckoff, their homegrown items are amazing.” MHS Math Teacher Felicia Dohm said. 700 Lawlins Rd, Wyckoff, NJ 07481

Visitors skim through rows of craft booths showcasing everything from hand-carved pumpkins to autumn-themed accessories, while kids can explore carnival rides designed to stir up thrills and excitement. The event’s appeal lies in its accessibility and variety, offering a stroller friendly route to the festival and various hydration stations.
