The MHS girls’ fencing team went against Kent Place this past Monday, winning 21-6.

The girls’ team has dominated so far this season, winning 5 out of their 6 meets with victories against Newark Academy, Millburn, Columbia, Governor Livingston, and now, Kent Place.

Two new freshman additions have helped this success: Mya Spears as a new varsity sabre fencer and Coco Brody as a new member of varsity foil.

The team hopes to qualify for this year’s state championship when they compete at districts at the end of this month.
