The Montclair High School Girls’ Basketball team crushed the Barringer Blue Bears this past Thursday by a score of 46-6.

The Mounties jumped to a 16-4 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Twelve Montclair players saw action with nine tallying at least two points.

Savannah Seawell and Lizzy Giordano led the team with each reaching double figures in points. Giordano had five steals on the defensive end while Taylor Yi had four.

The victory brought Montclair’s season record to 5-2 and kept them undefeated in the SEC-Independence division.
